This three-day applied anatomy symposium will be held on 15-16-17 May 2023 at the University of Caen, France under the auspices of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS). It will focus on the anatomy of the face and nose as applied to major surgical and cosmetic medical procedures.
Anatomical dissections will be followed by demonstrations of surgical techniques. A special time will be devoted to practical work and interactive discussions.

12:30 – 13:30 :Lunch break: discussion with tutors
13:30 – 15:00 : The tip work: sutures vs resections
15:00 – 16:00 : Adaptation of the columella: tongue in groove, caudal septum resection, sutures
16:00 – 17:00 : Nostrils and alar base resections
17:00 – 18:00 : Open discussion and practical conclusions – Q/A session
